Hujdiš is an artificial artistic language, a ‘’conlang’’, composed entirely by S. Constantin.
S. Constantin is a romanian artist, with a bachelor degree in Traditional Graphic Arts. His interest for graphic representations of languages took him to the next step: the creation of a new semiotic set based on esthetic impressions of Scandinavia’s samoyedic languages.
Hujdiš was initially exposed as an artistic creation at ‘’Expo Transilvania’’ Art Center in Cluj-Napoca(Romania), as part of an event organised by the ‘’University of Fine Arts and Design’’(Universitatea de Arta si Design) in July 2013. This project wouldn’t have been posible without the encouragement of the professors from ‘’Academy of Fine Arts’’( ASP) from Katowice, Poland.
The language has been presented for the second time to the large public in Oradea, Romania, in 2014 at ‘’Visual Kontakt’’ Art Gallery. See more here!
